The Director, NRC on YAK (ICAR), Dirang, invites applications from Indian Nationals in the prescribed format for filling up the following posts:
  1. T-6 (Farm Manager) (Rs.8000-13500) : 01 post, Age : 35 years, Qualification : Master's degree in Animal Science, Desirable ; 2 years of experience preferably in Extension work in the field of Yak Husbandry and NET qualified
  2. Subject Matter Specialist (Rs.8000-13500) : 06 posts (UR-05, OBC-01), Age : 35 years, Qualification : Master's degree in Animal Science / Horticulture/ Fishery Science, Desirable : 2 years of working experience in a Research Institute.
  3. Farm Manager (Rs.5500-9000) : 01 post, Age : 30 years, Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Agriculture/ Animal Science/ Horticulture/Forestry/ Home Science, Desirable : Master's Degree in Agriculture with specialisation with in Plant Breeding & Genetic
  4. Programme Assistant (Computer) (Rs.5500-9000) : 01 post, Age : 30 years, Qualification : Graduate (Computer Application/ Post-graduate Diploma in Computer Application), Desirable : Master's Degree in Computer Application/ Degree in Computer Engineering
  5. Programme Assistant (Rs.5500-9000) : 01 post (ST), Age : 30 years, Qualification : Degree in Agriculture/ Mechanical Engineering, Desirable : Experience on applicaiton of Farm Mechinery/Implements in rural areas.
  6. Office Superintendent-cum-Accountant (Rs.5500-9000) : 01 post, Age : 30 years, Qualification : Master in Business Management/ Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Mangement/ MA./M.Com./CA or B.Com./BA/Bachelor in Business Management with minimum five years of experience of working as Junior Accountant or Senior Clerk daling with Financial/ Accounts matter.
  7. Junior Stenographer (Rs.4000-6000) : 01 post, Age : 27 years, Qualification : Matriculation from a recognised board and possession of certificate of Stenography and Computer Application
  8. Driver-cum-Mechanic (Rs.3050-4590) : 02 posts, Age : 30 years, Qualification : Matriculation from a recognised board, possession of a valid and appropriate driving liccence for both heavy and light vehicles, at least 5 years of experience of driving knowledge of car, jeep or minibus.
  9. Supporting Staff (Rs.2550-3200) : 02 posts, Age : 25 years, Qualification : 8th class pass having skill to ride cycle/motor cycle.

Age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Serviceman/PH candidates as per rules.

Fee : Rs.50/- in the form of IPO drawn in favour of Director, NRC on Yak payable at the post office of Dirang. Sc/ST/PH candidates are exempted from the fee.
