IIST invites applications for the following regular faculty positions for professionals who are willing to take up the challanges of academia and high technology research:

• Lecturer (Rs.8000-13500) : Post Graduate Degree in Engineering / Science/ Arts with one year academic experience
• Reader (Rs.10000-15200) : Ph.D. in Engineering / Science/ Arts or PG Degree in in Engineering / Science/ Arts with 4 year academic/research experience
• Assistant Professor (Rs.12000-16500) : Ph.D. in Engineering / Science/ Arts with 4 year academic/research experience.
• Professor (Rs.16400-20000) : Ph.D. in Science with 13 year academic/r esearch experience

Areas :

• Professor : Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
• Lecturer, Reader and Assistant Professor : Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering with specialisation in RF/Microwave, Digital, Control Systems, English, Economics

Age : 35 years for Lecturer and Readers, 40 years for Assistant Professor and 45 years for Professor position.
