If you are an Engineering Graduate or a Science Post-Graduate having minimum GATE-2006/2007 score of
  • 340 in: Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Instrumentation Engineering
  • 450 in: Civil Engineering
  • 380 in: Physics, Chemistry
  • 500 in: Biosciences

DAE offers you an opportunity to appear for Selection Interview during June 18-July 13 for admission to its training programmes:

One-Year Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Post-Graduates starting in September 2007 at BARC Training School and its affiliates, and Two-Year DAE Graduate
Fellowship Scheme for joining MTech in specific specializations starting in July 2007 at various Indian Institutes of Technology:

OCES-2007 and DGFS-2007

On successful completion of training, you will join as Scientific Officer in one of the DAE units with attractive career progression up to the highest echelons.

Starting from OCES-2007, BARC Training School announces commencement of following two new courses at the IGCAR Training School, an affiliate of BARC Training School:
  • Nuclear Reactor Physics
  • Nuclear Fuel Cycle Chemistry

These courses will be offered to Physics and Chemistry Post-Graduates selected for OCES programme provided they fulfill certain other conditions given on the website named below.

These courses are in addition to the ongoing Physics/ Chemistry/ Radiation Safety Engineering courses for Physics/ Chemistry applicants.

  • Interviews are being held in the Training School Hostel, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai- 400085.
  • Outstation applicants will be paid to and fro second-class sleeper train fare by shortest
    route or actual fare whichever is less.
  • Final selection is solely on the basis of performance in interview.
