HCS Judicial Examination, 2007
High Court of Punjab and Haryana invites applications from eligible candidates for the following 34 (actual) and 20 (anticipated) (Total 54) vacancies of Haryana Civil Service (HCS) (Judicial Branch). The break up of the actual vacancies is as under :
- General - 16, SC of Hrayana - 9, BC of Haryana -5, Ex-Servicemen of Haryana - 1, Physically Handicapped (Ortho) of Haryana -3
In addition to the above, there are 20 anticipated vacancies. The break up of the same is as under:
- General - 12, SC of Hrayana - 4, BC of Haryana -1, Ex-Servicemen of Haryana - 2, Physically Handicapped (Ortho) of Haryana -1
Qualification : Candidate should hold a degree of Bachelor of Laws from a University established by law and approved/ recognized by the Bar Council of India. Candidates appearing in the final year/semester exam of the degree of Bachelor of Laws may appear in this Examination subject to the declaration in the prescribed proforma to possess the degree of Bachelor of Laws before the commencement of Viva Voce, failing which their candidature shall be cancelled.
Age : Between 21 to 40 years as on 16th July, 2007. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 45 years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes of all States and Backward Classes of Haryana alone.
Scheme of Examination : The examination shall be conducted in three stages namely, (i) Preliminary Examination (ii) Main Examination and (iii) Viva Voce.
How to Apply : Applications complete in all respects must reach the office of Additional Registrar (Selection Committee), Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh before 5.00 PM on 16th July, 2007.
