  1. Requires (Category-A) Journeyman on Contract basis from GRSE passed out Apprentice only :

    • No. of Posts : 182 (Reservation for SC/ST/OBC and PH will be as per Govt. directives.

      • Welder : 30 posts, Qualification : Passed 8th Class Exam and NCVT trade in Welder
      • Structural Fitter : 107 posts, Qualification : Passed Matriculation or equivalent or 10th class and NCVT trade in Structural Fitter
      • Fitter : 10 posts, Qualification : Passed Matriculation or equivalent or 10th class and NCVT trade in Fitter
      • Pipe Fitter : 15 posts , Qualification : Passed Matriculation or equivalent or 10th class and NCVT trade in Fitter
      • PASAA : 5 posts, Qualification : Passed Madhyamik and NCVT trade in PASSA
      • Carpentar / joiner : 15 posts, Qualification : Passed 8th Class Examination or equivalent and NCVT trade in Carpentar
  2. Category-B Journeyman on Contract basis from other than GRSE passed out Apprentices:
    • No. of Posts : 48 (Reservation for SC/ST/OBC and PH will be as per Govt. directives.
      • Electronic Fitter : 15 posts, Qualification : Passed out school or equivalent and CTI/ITI/NCVT in the trade of Electronics
      • Blacksmith : 5 posts, Qualification : Passed Matriculation or its equivalent and NCVT in the trade of Blacksmith
      • Machine Operator : 13 posts, Qualification : Passed 8th Class Exam or its equivalent and Be able to operate Press, Drilling, Sheating, Shot blasting, Rolling Machines and other alike machinery under Structural Shop with proficiency.
      • GRP Boat Builder : 10 posts, Qualification : Passed 8th Class Exam or its equivalent and ITI/NCVT in the trade of Boat Buildier .
      • Crane Operator : 5 posts, Qualification : Passed Matriculation with Science (Physics and Chemistry ) and Mathematics or equivalent and ITI/NCVT in the trade of Crane Operator
  3. Age : 30 years as on 01 February 2007.
  4. Period of contract : 2 years
  5. Selection : the sellection methodology will comprise of written test, trade test and interview.
  6. Remuneration : Rs.3500/- per month
  7. Experience : 2-3 years working exp. in a reputed ship building company.
