National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL) is a premier research laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). In addition to many Research, Development and Technology Programmes in Aerospace, NAL is actively involved in supporting the Na tional Aerospace Programmes of ADA, DRDO, ISRO, HAL and IAF. NAL is looking for bright, talented, qualified professionals having brilliant academic record, high level of motivation and zeal for innovative research as Scientists to participate in the exciting task of Aerospace R&D, Technology Development and related applications. Experience and proven qualities of scientific/technical leadership are required at higher levels .

Scientist Gr.IV (1) :

• No. of posts : 58 Posts (ST-9, ST-3,OBC-17, PWD-1)
• Scale of pay : Rs.8000-275-13500/-
• Age limit : 35 years
• Qualification : 1st class BE/B.Tech./AMIE/M.Sc./MLIS/MBA or equivalent qualification OR ME/M.Tech. or equivalent qualifications OR Ph.D. (Science/Technology)

Scientists Gr.IV(2) :

• No. of posts : 33 Posts
• Scale of pay : Rs.10000-325-15200/-
• Age limit : 35 years
• Qualification : 1st Class BE/B.Tech./AMAeSI/M.Sc./ MLIS/ MBA or equivalent qualifications with 3 years relevant experience OR ME/M.Tech. or equivalent qualifications with 2 years relevant experience OR Ph.D. (Science) with 1 year relevant experience OR Ph.D. (Engineering)

Scientist Gr. IV(3):

• No. of post : 5 Posts
• Scale of pay : Rs.12000-375-16500/-
• Age limit : 40 years
• Qualification : 1st Class BE/B.Tech./M.Sc. or equivalent qualifications with 7 years relevant experience OR ME/M.Tech./MS (Engg.)/ M.Sc. (Engg.) or equivalent qualifications with 5 years relevant experience OR Ph.D. (Science) with 4 years relevant experience OR Ph.D.(Engineering) with 3 years relevant experience.

Fee : An Application Fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) is payable separately for each post (Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-serviceman and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from payment of application fee) in the form of Demand Draft. Demand Draft should be drawn in the name of Director, NAL and payable in Bangalore.
