Recruitment for the post of Telecom Technical Assistant (TTA)

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for recruitment of 14 posts of Telecom Technical Assistants (TTA) by Himachal Pradesh Circle for its various Secondary Switching Areas(SSAs) :
Qualification : Three years Engineering Diploma in : Telecommunications Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Radio Engineering / Computer Engineering / Instruments Technology/ Information Technology/ M.Sc (Electronics) from a recognized institute /university.
Age : 18 to 27 years. Relaxation as per rules.
Pay Scale : Rs. 7100-10100/- IDA pattern.
Application Fee : The examination fee of Rs.500/- is to be sent along with the application form in the shape of Crossed Indian Postal Order / Bank Draft drawn in favour of Accounts Officer (Cash) % GMTD,...................(name of the SSA concerned), payable at their Head Quarters . No fee is required to be paid in respect of SC /ST candidate.
How to Apply : Prescribed application form duly filled in by the candidate in his / her own hand writing / typed should be sent to the D.E. (Admn.) % GMTD..................(name of the SSA concerned for which the candidate wishes to apply), so as to reach his office latest by 10/12/2008 (17/12/2008 for candidates of Lahaul & Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District). The envelope containing application should be superscribed in bold letters "Application for Direct Recruitment to the cadre of Telecom Technical Assistant". Two self-addressed envelopes ( 23x11 cms. size) duly stamped should also be enclosed with the application.
