Become a Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officer in the Naval Architecture Cadre

Course Commencing - Aug 2007

Applications are invited from unmarried male and female indian citizens for Short Service Commission in the Naval Architecture Cadre of the Indian Navy for Course commencing Aug 2007 at Naval Academy (NAVAC), INS Zamorin, ezhimala, Kerala.

Eligibility Conditions:

Age : Between 21 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 aug 1982 to 01 aug 1986; both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications : BE / B.Tech. (or equivalent) from an AICTE recognised institute with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in any of the following

(i) Naval Architecture (ii) Mechanical (iii) Aeronautical (iv) Civil (v) Metallurgy

Physical Standards : Hight and Wieght : Minimum height - 157 cms for men and 152 cms for women with correlated weight.

SSC : Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.
