Textile Designer required in Handloom Development Scheme

Applications from Citizens of India are invited in the plain paper along with 3 copies of recent passport size photographs and attested copies of the graduation certificates with all relevant biodata, marksheet and character certificate etc. from NIFT/ NID/ Other Institution and Educational Certificate from respective universities for immediate filling up of the following posts to be appointed on Contract Basis for period of 3 years with the consolidated amount of pay shown against each Handloom Weaving Cluster under the integrated Handloom Development Scheme sponsored by Govt. of India, Ministry of Textiles, Development Commissioner (Handlooms) New Delhi.

  • Textile Designer : 04 posts (Saipung - Jaintia Hills District, Lapngar - Ri-bhoi District, Garobadha - West Garo Hills District and Paham - West Garo Hills District)

Each post carry equal pay@ Rs.16500/- pm  fixed or @ Rs.200000/- annually. The selected designer shall have to sign the Memorandum of Understanding format developed by Govt. of India, Ministry of Textiles, Development Commissioner (Handloom) between the Directorate of Sericulture and Weaving.

Age : 18-35 years as on 31/03/2008. Age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
