Recruitment of Constable (Executive - Male) in Delhi Police - 2008

Applications are invited to fill up vacancies of constables (executive-male) in Delhi Police under the following categories. Recruitment will be held at Delhi, Candidates from all parts of the country fulfilling conditions can apply :

• Constable (Executive - Male) : 3388 posts (UR-1711, OBC-915, SC-508, ST-254, Ex-Serviceman - 10% of total vacancies in each category), Pay Scale : Rs.3050-4590/-, Age : 18 to 21 years as on 01/01/2008 (Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC and Sportsperson as per rules) , Qualification : 10+ 2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized Board, Graduation Certificate for Ex-Servicemen, Physical Stantdard : 170 height, Chest : 81-85 cms.

How to Apply : There are two ways to apply for the post of Constable (Executive), Offline and Online.

1. Offline : Applicants are required to send the filled up application form alongwith the fee of Rs. 100/- in the form of Demand/Bank Draft in favour of “DCP 4th Battalion, Delhi Armed Police, Delhi" , payable at Delhi & send it through ordinary post to PO Box no. 8020, Delhi 110033, and write on the top of the envelope “Application for the Post of Constable (Exe) - Male 2008 in Delhi Police”. 2. Online : Apply online at http://www.delhipolicerecruitment.in/application.cgi. After submission, click on Print Button to take out print (on 300 dpi Laser printer) of the filled Application Form on A4 size paper. The Registration No. must be noted/printed properly for future use to check the status of application. Affix a photograph and put signature. Applicants are required to send the print out of duly filled application form on A4 paper alongwith the fee of Rs. 100/- in the form of Demand/Bank Draft in favour of DCP 4th Battalion, Delhi Armed Police, Delhi (Payable at Delhi) & send it through ordinary post to PO Box no. 8020, Delhi-110033, and write on the top of the envelope “Application for the Post of Constable (Exe) - Male 2008 in Delhi Police”

Last date of receipt of duly filled-in application form is 25th May, 2008
