National Institute of Administrative Research (NIAR) is situated at Mussoorie, a fascinating hill resort with a picturesque backdrop of Great Himalayas. NIAR established in March 1995 is a Society promoted by the Lal Bahdur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie which is premier Institution imparting the induction level training to members of All India Services and Central Services (Group A) through the common Foundational Courses and Professional Training to Officers of Indian Administrative Services.
Applications are invited for the following posts on contractual basis:
- Consultant : 3 posts, Qualification : Master's degree in Social Science/ Statistics/ Education, Ph.D. is desirable. Experience : Minimum 5 years research/teaching/training experience related to development administration, education, decentralised planning and other social sectors. Should be able to handle research projects and organise training programmes independently. Candidates who have worked in DPEP/ SSA programmes will be preferred. Term upto April 2008, Age : below 50 years, Emoluments : Rs.30000/- consolidated.
- Research Associate : 3 posts, Qualification : Master degree in Social Science/ M.Ed./ Statistics. Candidates having knowledge of quantitative analysis and exposure to SPSS will be preferred., Experience : 2 years research experience, Term upto April, 2008. Age : below 35 years. Emoluments : Rs.15000/- consolidated per month.
- Document Assistant : 3 posts, Qualification : Graduate in Social Science with exposure of SSA activities. Desirable Diploma in Office Management with proficiency in MS Office. Experience : 1 year research experience, Term upto April 2008., Age : below 35 years, Emolument : Rs.10000/- consolidated per month.
