Applications are invited on prescribed form for the various Teaching/ Non-Teaching posts under Nagaland University so as to reach the Registrar, Nagaland University, Kohima-797001 on or before 6th March, 2007.

• Finance Officer : 1 post, Qualification : Chartered Accountant having minimum experience 10 years as Chartered Accountant.
• Director : 3 posts, Qualification : A Master's Degree with at least 55% of the marks of its equivalent grade from a recognized University.
• Deputy Registrar : 03 posts, Qualification : A Master's Degree with at least 55% of the marks of its equivalent grade from a recognized University.
• Assistant Registrar : 02 posts, Qualification : A Master's Degree with at least 55% of the marks of its equivalent grade from a recognized University.
• System Administrator : 02 posts, Qualification :1st class MCA or 1st class BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Technology.
• Section Officer : 02 posts, Qualification : A candidates must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/ Board.
• Public Relation Officer : 01 post, Qualification : Good academic record plus Master's degree from a recognized University with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade.
• Assistant Librarian : 01 post, Qualification : Good academic record plus Master's degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Document or and equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade.
• Professor : 16 posts (in the areas of Economics, Chemistry, Geography, History & Archaeology, Pol. Science. , Sociology, Tenyidie, Entomology, Geology, Linguistics, Agronomy, Education, IT, Mass Comm., Tribal Research Centre, Centre for Bio-diversity) , Qualification : An eminent scholar with published work of high quality actively engaged in research with 10 years of experience in post graduate teaching.
• Reader : 15 posts (in the areas of Botony, Zoology, English, Tenyidie, Geology, Horticulture, Palnt Pathology, Agriculture Engineering, Aril. Extension, Genetic & Plant Breeding, Pol. Science, History & Archaeology, linguistic), Qualification : Good academic record with a doctoral degree of equivalent published work.
• Lecturer : 33 posts (in the areas of English, Commerce, History & Archaeology, Tenyidie, Botony, Chemistry, Zoology, Economics, Horticulture, Agronomy, Agriculture Eco. & Statistics, Plant Pathology, Agri Chemistry & Soil Science, Agril. Extension, Education, Pol. Science, Sociology, Genetic & Plant Breeding, Geography, Rural Development, Tribal Research Centre, Centre for Bio-Diversity, IT, Mass Comm.), Qualification : Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks at the Master's degree level.

Fee : in the form of IPO/ DD for Rs. 200/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/OBC/PH/ExSM) in favour of Registrar, Nagaland University payable at Kohima, Nagaland.
