• Assistant Regional Inspector (Technical) : 36 posts (UR-18, SC-10, ST-1, OBC-7) in Transport Department of UP, Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200/-, Age : 21-35 years as on 01/07/2011, Qualification : Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering (ii) 3 years experience of repairing/ overhauling/ inspection of vehicles (iii)  must have liscence for heavy motor veehicles

Application Fee : Rs.230/- (Rs.110/-  for SC/ST of UP) to be paid either by Treasury Challans or by Bank DD in favour of Secretary, Public Service commission payable at Allahabad.

Recruitment to the post of Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/ Motor Transport 2009

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for the post of Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/ Motor Transport, Group 'C' non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial in the Intelligene Bureau (IB) (MHA), Government of India. The selected candidates will be required to drive any kind of motor vehicle and will also be responsible for its upkeep.

• Junior Intelligence Officer : 140 posts (UR-71,OBC-38,SC-13,ST-18), Pay Band : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400, Qualification : Candidates must be Matriculation passed ot equivalent (ii) Possession of valid driving license for motor cars. (iii) Knowledge of motor mechanism (iv) Experience for driving a motor car for at least 3 years., Age : Not more than 32 years. Age relaxation to 5 years to SC/ST, 3 years to OBC candidates.

Closing Date : The last date of submitting application is 22/06/09.

Selection Process : Candidate will be called for a test of motor mechanism and driving test followed by an interview at selected places to be decided by the Bureau.

How to Apply : Application forms filled up either in English or Hindi only on a plain white paper of size 21 1/2 x 33 cms in the prescribed format should be sent through ordinary posts only at the designated addresses upto last date. The envelope containing the application must be superscribed in bold letters as "Application to the post of JIO-II/MT in IB"

Recruitment of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors in AP Transport Subordinate Service

Applications are invited in the Online Application Form from 13/04/2009 to 30/04/2009 from the eligible candidates for the following posts :

• Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors : 218 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.8815-20300, Age : 18-39 years, Qualifications: (i) Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering or any equivalent qualification. OR Diploma in Automobile Engineering or Any other equivalent qualification (ii) Must hold a Motor Driving License and have experience in driving motor vehicles for a period of not less than 3 years and possess Heavy Transport vehicle endorsement. Provided that where persons with 3 years experience
  in driving motor vehicles are not available, persons with two years experience in driving motor vehicles may be appointed.

Application Fee : Rs. 25/- only towards Application Fee and Examination Fee Rs. 80/- (No fee from SC/BC/ST/Ex-SM) in prescribed challan form in any branch of State Bank of India across the country.
