National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) is the largest network of science centres/ museums under a single administrative umbrella in the world, 27 science centers/museums of NCSM located in different sites in India. Applications in NCSM are invited for the following posts :

1. Curator B : 06 posts  (UR-2, SC-2,OBC-2), Qualification : 1st class Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical/ Electronics or 1st class M.Sc. in Physics with one year experience in research / design/ workshop/ teaching OR M.E./ M.Tech./ Ph. D. (Science) in above disciplines.
2. Assistant Executive Engineer : 02 posts (UR-1, SC-1), Pay Band: Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.5400, Qualifications : 1st class bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 3 years post qualification experience in supervision of construction of large building/ Air-conditioning work/ structural work.

Following vacancies exist in Scientific cadre in Science Museums and Centres under the National Council of Science Museums all over India:

1. Curator ‘B’ : 15 posts (UR-7, SC-1, ST-1, OBC-6), Pay Band : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400/-, Qualification : 1st class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical/ Electronics OR 1st class M.Sc in Physics/ Zoology/ Bio-Technology/ Environmental Sciences with one-year experience in research/ design/ workshop/ teaching. OR M.E/ M.Tech/P h.D (Science) in above disciplines.
2. Exhibition Officer B : 02 posts (UR-1, OBC-1), Pay Band : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400/-, Qualification : 1st class Bachelor’s degree in fine/ commercial art with at least 5 years experience in exhibition display and visualisation.
3. Assistant Executive Engineer : 03 posts, Pay Band : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400/-, Qualification : 1st class Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 3 years post qualification experience in supervision of construction of large buildings/ experience in Air-conditioning work.

2. Technician ‘A’ (Fitter) : 01 post (Gen), Pay Scale : Rs. 3050-4590/-, Qualification:
   Madhyamik with ITI Certificate in the relevant trade with one year relevant experience. If the ITI course duration is less than two years, two years relevant experience after obtaining the certificate is essential.
3. Jr. Stenographer : 01 post (OBC), Pay Scale : Rs. 4000-6000/-, Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent with minimum speed of 80 w.p.m. in Shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in Typewriting. Knowledge of Computer desirable., Age: Not more than 33 years.
4. Lower Division Clerk : 01 post (Gen) on contract for a period of one year., Pay : Rs.3050-4590/-, Qualification: Madhyamik/ SSLC or equivalent with English typewriting speed of 30 w.p.m. Knowledge of Computer is desirable., Age: Not more than 30 years.
