MMRDA was set up on the 26th January, 1975 under the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority Act, 1974 Goverment of Maharashtra as an apex body for planning and co-ordination of development activities in the Region. Applications are invited for the following posts in MMRDA. :

1. Senior Planner : 02 posts (SC-1,ST-1), Qualification : Degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering ot its equivalent or Post Graduate Degree in Social/ Natural Sciences ANd Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning or its equivalent or in Urban Design. Professional affiliation with the Insitutuion of Town Planner, India or similiar recognised institution., Experience : 7 years experience in the field of Urban and Regional Planning., Age : Not more than 40 years, Pay Scale : Rs.12000-16500/-
2. Junior Architect : 02 posts (VJNT-1, UR-1), Qualification : Degree or Diploma Architecture. , Experience : one years experience., Age : Not more than 35 years, Pay Scale : Rs.6500-10500/-
3. Deputy Planner : 03 posts (UR-2, ST-1), Qualification : Degree in Architecture or Engineering or its equivalent or Post Graduate Degree in Social Sciences AND Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Planning or or Urban Design Civil Engineering from a recognised university or equivalent. , Experience : Minimum one years experience., Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500/- , Age : 40 years.
4. Junior Planner : 05 posts (ST-1,VJ-1,OBC-1,UR-2), Qualification : Degree in Architecture or in Civil Engineering or its equivalent. , Age : 40 years, Experience : 3 years experience in Urban Design Preferable., Pay Scale : Rs.6500-10500/-
5. Stenotypist : 08 posts (SC-1,ST-1,VJNT-1,OBC-1, UR-4), Qualification : Minimum SSC or its equivalent exam recognised by Govt. of Maharashtra. Should posses a speed not less than 80/40 WPM in Shorthand/Typing in Enhlish and Marathi, Age : Not more than 30 years., Pay Scale : Rs.4000-6000/-
