Recruitment of Inspector (Sportspersons) in Haryana Police

Applications are invited for 6 posts of Inspector (Sportsman) in Haryana Police as per details given below. Selected candidates on appointment as Inspector shall be in the pay scale of Rs.6500-9900/- with usual allowances.

Vacancies : 6 posts of Inspector

Selection Centre : Office of the Inspector General of the Police, Ambala Range, Ambala Cantt.

Eligibility : Candidate should be citizen of India or a subject of Neapl or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee.

Character Certificate : No person shall be appointed to the post of Inspector, unless he produces a certificate of character from the Principal Academic, Officer of the University, College, School or Institution last attended, and similar certificate from two other responsible persons, not being relative who are well acquainted with him in his private life and are unconnected with his university, college, school or institution.

Educational Qualification : Graduate from a recognised university.

Age : General : 18 to 27 years as on 1st Feb, 2007 .

Physical standard : Height : 5'8" (male) and 5'2" for Female, Chest (for males only) - 33" , Expanded - 34 1/2 "

Selection Procedure : Physical Efficiency Test and Interview/Personality Test who qualify PET.

How to Apply : Registration of candidate for recruitment shall begin on 1st October, 2007 at 9.00 AM at the designated Selection Centre. All the eligible candidates may submit their application forms as per prescribed proforma to the "Inspector General of Police, Ambala Range, Ambala Cantt cum Chairman, Selection Board" in person. The candiates are required to enclose a self-addressed envelope with Rs.5/- postage stamp affixed on it along with the application form. Application form can be sent by Registered Post also as to reach the concerned Selection Centres not later the 15th October, 2007.
