National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) set up by the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India has eight ccentres all over India, invites application in the prescribed proforma for various faculty posts on regular / contract basis :

1. Professor : 52 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.14300-18300
2. Associate Professors : 30 posts (10 Regular and 20-On contract Basis), Pay Scale : Rs.10000-15200/-
3. Associate Professors (Technical) : 06 posts (3-Regular and 3-On contract Basis), Pay Scale : Rs. 10000-15200/-
4. Assistant Professors : 98 posts , Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-
5. Assistant Professors (Technical) : 02 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500/-

The Faculty positions are in the disciplines of Fashion Design, Fashion Management and Fashion Technology-Apparel, Textiles, Lifestyle Accessories, Communications, Apparel Manufacturing & Information Technology, Management and Liberal Arts in competencies. Candidates with interdisciplinary orientation and hands on approach will be preferred.

Applications (in the prescribed format) with enclosures should be sent to the Registrar (Estt.)
