Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts for appointment on the direct recruitment basis :
- Assistant : 02 posts (OBC-2), Pay Scale : Rs.4000-6000/-, Qualification : Grudate and Typing speed of 30WPM or equivalent speed of 8000 KDPH on computer (ii) Working knowledge of computers such as Windows, MS Office, Fox-Base/FoxPro, Unix, Use of Internet (to be assessed by way of a test) , Age : below 28 years with 03 years age relaxation for OBC candidates as on 01/07/07. The candidates will be tested in GK, General English, Mathematics, Typing/speed test on computer.
- Junior Assistant : 04 posts (OBC-4), Pay Scale : Rs.3050-4590/-, Qualification : Senior Secondary or equivalent (ii) Speed in Typewritting 30 WPM or equivalent speedo f 8000 KDPH or computer (iii) Working knowledge of computers such as Windows, MS Office, Fox-Base/FoxPro, Unix, Use of Internet (to be assessed by way of a test) , Age : below 28 years with 03 years age relaxation for OBC candidates as on 01/07/07. The candidates will be tested in GK, General English, General Hindi, Typing/speed test on computer.
- Junior Assistant (Computer) : 01 posts (UR), Pay Scale : Rs.3050-4590/-, Qualification : Graduate with Diploma in Computer Applications. OR Graduate with 'O' level certificate from DOEACC, Punching speed of min. 8000 KDPH (ii) At least one year data entry/ computer operation in a data entry/compuer operation in a data processing centre. Working knowledge of computers such as Windows, MS Office, Fox-Base/FoxPro, Unix, Use of Internet, Age : below 25 years as on 01/07/07. The candidates will be tested in GK, General English, General Hindi, Computer Knowledge and simple programming in above areas of computer.
- Peon : 2 posts (Ur-2), Pay Scale : Rs.2550-3200/-, Qualification : Middle passed, Age : Below 25 years as on 01/07/07
The candidates should apply for the above said posts in the format with recent psspost size photograph such as Name of the post applied for, Name of the candidate (in bold Capital letters), Father's name , Date of Birth, Permanent Address, Address for correspondence, Academic qulifications (mentioning Div, % of marks, also attach photocopy of certificates and mark statements), Technical Qualification, Mention Caste/ Category (SC/ST/OBC/UR), Experience, Any other information.
A fee of Rs.50/- in the form of DD payable to Secretary, CBSE, Chennai should be paid except for the post of Peon and SC/ST candidates are exempted from fee.
Applications complete in all respect supposrted with attested photocopies of certificates superscribing the post applied for should reach the Regional Offcier, CBSE, Plot no. 1630 A, 16th Main Road, Anna Nagar (West), Chennai-600040 within 30 daya from the date of the publication (published on 21/04/07).
