The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) is one of the constituent national laboratories of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). CCMB invites applications in the prescribed application form for the following post from Indian citizens as per the qualifications and other details mentioned against the post.

• Junior Technical Assistant Gr.III(1) : 02 posts, Scale of pay: Rs. 4500-125-7000, Age Limit: 28 years . Qualification : First class B.Sc. or equivalent (Biological Sciences) from a recognised university.
• Junior Hindi Translator: 1 Post, Scale of pay: Rs.5000-150-8000, Age Limit: 28 years, Qualification : Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as a main subject at the degree level; OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject with Hindi as the medium of instruction and examination with English as compulsory subject at degree level; OR Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as main subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and other as a main subject plus recognized Diploma/Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa, or two year’s experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central/State Government Offices, including Govt. of India Undertakings.

Applications are invited from candidates who are bonafide Indian citizens and having consistently good academic record for the following contract positions in the LaCONES project

• Computer Operator : 02 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.4500-125-7000 , Age : 28 years, Qualification : Ist Class Bachelor’s Degree with Computer knowledge of MS Office and other bioinformatics tools.

The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) is one of the constituent national laboratories of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), the premier multidisciplinary Research & Development organisation of the Government of India. It was set up as a semi-autonomous Centre in 1977 in Hyderabad, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, became a full-fledged national laboratory during 1981-82, and was dedicated to the nation on 26 November, 1987 by the then Prime Minister of India late Shri Rajiv Gandhi.

• Scientist 'EI' Group IV : 3 posts, Pay Scale: Rs.12,000-375-16,500/- , Upper Age Limit: 40 years , Qualification : Ph. D. (Science) in relevant area with 4 years experience / 1st Class MBBS with 7 years experience OR Ph. D.(Science) in relevant area 4 years experience.
• Scientist ‘C’ [Group IV(2)] : 4 Posts, Pay Scale : Rs.10,000-325-15,200 /-, Upper Age Limit: 35 years , Qualification : Ph. D. (Science) in relevant area with 1years experience.
• Scientist ‘B’ [Group IV(1)] : 7 Posts [Reserved for OBC] , Pay Scale : Rs.8,000-275-13,500/-, Qualification : First Class MSc / MBBS OR MD / MVSc OR Ph D(Science) in relevant area., Upper Age Limit: 35 years

Application Form : Application forms can be had from the Controller of Administration, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Uppal Road, Hyderabad 500007, on or before 27-08-2007 in person between 3 PM and 5 PM on working days, against application fee of Rs.100/- (non-refundable) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, payable at Hyderabad, or by sending a request enclosing prescribed application fee, as stated above, for issue of an application form, along with a self-addressed envelope of the size of 23X11 cms affixed with postage stamps of Rs.10/-. At the back of the DD indicate details of name, date of birth, post applied for and post code number. SC/ST Candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
