The KVS intends to make recruitment for various teaching posts of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), Primary Teachers and Miscellanious Teaching posts for its schools spread all over India. Online Applications are invited in the prescribed format from the Indian Nationals for Teaching posts in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) for the years 2011-12 :
- Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) : 559 Posts in various subjects (UR-290,OBC-148,SC-81,ST-40) (PH-15), Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4600, Age Limit: 35 Years as on 30/11/2010
- Primary Teachers (PRT) : 592 Posts (UR-301,OBC-159,SC-88,ST-44) (PH-17), Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200, Age Limit : 30 Years as on 30/11/2010
- Primary Teacher - Music : 14 Posts (UR-7,OBC-4,SC-2,ST-1)(PH-3), Pay Scale : Rs. 9300- 34800 grade pay 4200, Age Limit : 30 Years as on 30/11/2010
Application Fee : Rs. 750/- (plus Rs.30/- as service charge) to be deposited in the Indian Bank account number 405046333, Mehrauli Institutional Area, New Delhi by a challan/ electronic transfer. No fee for SC/ST/Ex-SM/PH/Women candidates.
