Applications are invited in the prescribed Application Forms (a set of twelve application forms) for the following Teaching Posts in the University Departments of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and Sub-Centre at Osmanabad.
- Professor : 06 posts in various subjects, Pay Scale : Rs. 16400-22400/-, Qualification : An eminent Scholar with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research, with 10 years of experience in postgraduate teaching, and / or experience in research at the University / National level institution, including experience of guiding research at doctoral level. OR An outstanding scholar with established reputation who has made significant contribution to knowledge.
- Reader : 15 posts in various subjects, Pay Scale : Rs.12000-18300/-, Qualification : Good academic record with a doctoral degree or equivalent published work. In addition to these, candidates who join from outside the university system, shall also possess atleast 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A,B,C,D,E & F at the Master’s degree level. Five years of experience of teaching and/or research.
- Lecturer : 18 posts in various subjects, Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500/-, Qualification : Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A,B,C,D,E & F at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the eligibility test (NET/SET) for Lecturers, conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
Application Form : Prescribed application forms (a set of twelve application forms) alongwith detailed information can be obtained from the Publication unit of the University on payment of Rs. 150 /- in the case of candidate belonging to reserved category on production of certified Xerox copy of caste certificate and Rs. 300/- for Open Category candidate, and by post on sending a demand draft towards the cost of the application form alongwith postal charges Rs. 50 /- separately. How to Apply : The application form in a set of twelve forms duly typed and completed in all respects, alongwith necessary documents duly attested and attached to each application form of the set should be sent in an envelope superscribed as “Application for the post of ________” so as to reach the Registrar during office hours on or before 10 January 2009.
