• Educational Qualification : Licentiate Members of the Institute of Surveyors of India (b) Hydrographic Surveyors having a minimum of 5 yesrs experiencein surveying in a recognised hydrographic surveying service as Asstt. Hydrographic Surveyor or equivalent after obtaining Licentiate member OR should be a Survey Recorder 1st Class from Indian Navy with minimum 5 years of experience as Asst. Hydrographic Surveyor or equivalent after obtaining Survey Recorder 1st Class of the Indian Navy.
3. Assistant Hydrographic Surveyor : 2 posts, Pay:Rs.14000 /-
• Age : 18 to 35 years
• Educational Qualification : *(i) Survery recorder 1st Class of Indian Navy. OR Licentiate Member of the Institution (Indian) in Sub. Div.I (b) Hydrographic Surveying (ii) 3 years practical experience either in Indian Navy or Merchant Navy or Hydrographic survey organisation including about 2 years practical experience in hydrographic (c) Posses adequate knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi (d) Possed basic knowledge of computer application
4. Pilot Officer (FGM) : 2 posts, Pay:Rs.37000/-
• Age : 18 to 45 years
• Educational Qualification : Candidates possessing Foreign Going Master valid "Certificate of Competencey" issued by Govt. of India under the provision of the STCW Convention. He should have served as Master or Chief Officer on a Foreign Going Ship, or, should be existing Licensed Pilot of the Port.

Application invited for the position of System Administrator on contractual basis at the high performance computing facility at hte Harish-Chandra Research Institute, Allahabad, India. The system administrator is expected to manage saveral Linix clusters, associated facilities and infrastructure, participate in planning of adding new clusters and helping users. Experience in Linux / Unix system administration is an essential requirement. Knowledge of high performance computing system, batch queue systems and administration of network services is desirable. Those with a B.E/B.Tech. in Computer Science or BCA or MCA with minimum of 60% marks are eligible to apply. Physicists or Mathematicians with a Ph.D. and having considerable experience of computing and system administration will also be considerd. In case of candidate has the required experience in Linux Administration it may be possible to relax the minimum qualification.
